I’ve written a few posts that might be helpful, and will include links to at the end of this post.
There are lengthy manuals for Things Writers Must Do… and so much of it is time-consuming with results that are—for the most part—immeasurable. Which is what creates so much pressure. There’s a part of me that knows that every little piece I do towards promotion and getting the books under eyeballs and into the hands of those who will truly enjoy the read, is CUMULATIVE. I may not see evidence of my work for ages, but it does grow. (You have to believe this… as you find yourself traipsing off to do bizarre things…)
