One of the original working titles in 1936 of Gone With The Wind was Bugles Sang True. Other choices included Tomorrow is Another Day, Not in Our Stars, Tote the Weary Load, and… are you ready for it? Pansy. Yes. (Scarlett’s original name.)

Ultimately, “Gone With the Wind” was discovered in a poem.

I’ve titled this post “finding and creating” because some titles do feel to be stumbled over, and others are concerted effort (and Time) to pull together. Let’s look at stumbling and hard work. Let’s look at sound and spelling and tests and copyright and more…
