(Note how you cannot see any of the children’s faces clearly… important! Then be careful how/where you share the pics—if you do)

In May 2019, I took part in the wonderful Canadian Children’s Book Centre “Book Week” tour, and was chosen to present in the province of Quebec. The team in the Book Centre has always done an amazing job of connecting schools and community places, hotels, volunteers for driving, and so much more. This year it’s virtual, but I am hopeful that someday it will return to the Olden Ways.

Re-read the post on presenting to an adult audience—all of that applies here, too, and more. The humour piece, in particular. If there is anything amusing in your work, share it. The kids will appreciate. School days are long, often tedious. Make them laugh, and they’ll remember and be grateful. Or give them something to Wonder about.
