Developing real characters is possibly the toughest challenge of a writer. We’ve all had the experience of reading a book, closing the covers, and experiencing missing the character. As writers we marvel at this… When this happens, I can’t help but return to the opening pages, and start the read all over, with the question: “How did the writer do this?”
